Nxera Pharma’s Partner Neurocrine Biosciences Receives IND Acceptance from the FDA for Phase 2 Study of NBI-1117567 for Alzheimer's Cognition

Neurocrine Biosciences has received FDA IND acceptance for a Phase 2 study of NBI-1117567, an oral muscarinic M1/M4 selective agonist for Alzheimer's cognition. Nxera Pharma will receive a $10 million milestone payment. This marks the third compound in Nxera's muscarinic agonist portfolio to advance to Phase 2, following direclidine in Phase 3 and NBI-1117570 in Phase 2.
